Ok, I know this is SUPPOSED to be done on Friday, but I know that I won't get any posting done on Friday, so I decided to do it today.
Last night, my wonderful hubby saw a very large piece of mistletoe blow off a tree and across the yard. During our conversation, he bolts out of the room and into the yard to retrieve it. He then instructs Taylor to locate ribbon, craft wire and bells. The two of them sit on the floor creating small pieces of mistletoe with beautiful plaid ribbon at the top and hooks at the back for hanging.
It was all very spur of the moment, but nothing touches my heart more than when my husband sits down with his daughter to do special things. And nothing beats the impromptu family time together! Everything else can wait.

Yes, but we all know what mistletoe leads to. Maybe he had ulterior motives... :-) Just teasing!
That really is neat that he took the time to do that. Sometimes it's the unplanned times that mean the most!
aw, that is so sweet!!! how fun :)
I love hanging mistletoe . . . haven't found any yet this year. I guess I may come knocking on your door! *smile*
Hi Charity...I'm glad Jaime taught me how to blog. Now I know all about your pregnancy so far!!
when will you add a widget..a countdown to the due date?
Have you signed onto babycenter.com? that is a very cool way for you and dad and Taylor to keep up with the baby's development. by the way, I voted that you are having a girl, because your husband is so sweet.
what a thoughtful guy.
