Oh, the drama

We do frequently have drama in our home, between a new hormonal mom and a preteen girl...well, you get the picture. But this post is not about that, go figure. I could write volumes about that, but I want you to actually enjoy reading this blog. This post is about drama camp that Taylor attended last week at our church. The annual FBC Arts camp. A group of about 30-50 2nd-6th graders learn an entire musical production in one week. The directors deserve high marks and medals for all their hard work, patience, endurance, love, and general ability to organize chaos into entertainment. This years production, "American Ideal", is a derivative of the popular "American Idol", but the message teaches participants and audience alike that everything we do should be to God's glory, not our own. This lesson was learned through the musical itself as well as other actions during the week. Taylor and her friends E & D thoroughly enjoyed themselves and are pictured below during one of the musical numbers. We were proud of everyone and it was a joy to watch them have so much fun. Taylor had a small solo, and did an awesome job.

She was very excited to get to wear the big blue fluffy dress. We think it makes her look older and still beautiful. Now we just need to work on the smiling.

She looked too grown up! Bill and I were in shock and feeling very old. If she is that old, where does that leave us??? Oh well, we have a new baby to keep us young again. At least I think that is how it works, at 4 hours of sleep, I am not feeling very young.
