This is not a "fun" post, but just an update to let everyone know what is happening and how things are going in our household. We are so grateful to God for His provision. Bill has applied to unemployment, but the weekly amount that they pay was not going to meet our bills by a long shot. He has received many offers of temp work helping people with construction, wood work, trim work, etc. The question was, should this "under the table" work be reported. We have been teaching Taylor recently how important honesty is and how God rewards it, but putting words into actions is a hard thing. God never lets us down. Bill researched the unemployment site and found that if he is self employed and does not show profit, that income does not have to be reported. Yeah! He also spoke with the U/E office on Monday and they told him that since the last 8 days of his final paycheck were earned vacation time that he had previous earned that and his unemployment began on his last day of work!
He has applied for many jobs, and has not had any interviews yet. Please keep us in your prayers. There is a job that he is very excited about and really, really, really would like to get. It is a teaching position in the aviation dept at LeTourneau. I have always told him he would be a good teacher, so now we wait.
I have found that I do a lot more singing of praise songs around the house and many of them center around trust in God. Praise to the Father who keeps us secure in His hands!
