Beauty all around us

Kirsten is moving forward in so many ways. On Thursday, she starting signing her first sign language sign. “More”. Now, we make her sign that whenever she wants more food. The down side, we have to really pay attention so we don’t miss the sign and cause her additional frustration.

Also, grandma finished her second set of curtains and they now gracefully adorn her windows of her room. They block some of the day light and really bring the design together. You can see over the bed, the large bow that has been painted on the wall. One of my piano parents does custom murals and did the room to match the bedding.

Finally, she turned 10 months old on Saturday. She is now crawling everywhere in the house and pulling herself up to a standing position when there is something to hang onto. When we hold her hands, she will move her feet and “walk”. She still loves to talk and sing and Taylor gets her to laugh more than anyone else. She is grasping the concept of peek-a-boo and responds with a giggle.

A few days ago, I caught some cute pictures of Taylor and Baby K playing with bubbles in the front yard. Having my camera out and everyone in a seemingly good mood, I figured it was a good time to snap some pictures of the girls with our azaleas. Aren’t they ALL beautiful?
