Let it Snow, let it snow, let it snow

I am so very behind in posting, that I am not going to try to catch up today.  Maybe later this week?  Instead, I am moving forward with all the fun that was had this evening in the snow.

I think we spent as much time getting ready as we spent outside.  I had a pair of size 2 snow pants for baby K, a little big (since she wears 12 months), but workable.  Between that and her heavy coat, she reminded me of the little brother on "A Christmas Story" whose hands won't go down because he is bundled up so thick.

She liked the snow, but was a little apprehensive to step into it.  She really liked watching big sister throw snowballs.  She did NOT want to taste it or touch it.  But she had a good time for the short while we were outside.
I just had to take a picture of our lights on the sidewalk.  The snow had weighted down the branches so they formed a cover and the light just seemed to radiate through them. Of course, my picture does not do it justice, but it reminded me of God's light shining through us.  May He shine through me this year.
