Well, it has finally hit me. The completely tired phase.
This past weekend I traveled to Grapevine for an automotive event: Texas Truck Rodeo. Everyone was so concerned about me and repeatedly asked how I was doing. How nice to be the center of attention. I did learn that riding a bus for 1 hour each morning and afternoon is not the best plan. Eating before getting on is best. Test driving over 40 trucks and SUVs off road for 2 days can certainly wear a person out. I was surprised at how well I was faring, at least until I came home on Sunday. My husband graciously took the family to lunch and after taking Taylor to a birthday party, I spent the rest of the day on the sofa.
Monday & Tuesday are my days to get housework done. I discovered that I can work for about 1-2 hours then I must rest. I also discovered that if I don't eat about every 2 hours, I regret it. Just about 10 bites is all I need. A cookie gets the job done, but is not nutritious, so I am opting for fruit, veggies or crackers (the good old pregnancy standby).
I know this is temporary, but I am not used to sleeping in the middle of the day. What a change! I think I kind of like the resting part of it. I am still not so sure about the queasy part of it. Here's too the next 8 months left.

It will be over before you know it and you'll be celebrating a second b-day! *smile*
