Today, I had my first doctor's visit and subsequent blood test. I did not actually SEE the doctor, but met with the nurse and was able to hear the heartbeat for a brief second, although it was faint, it was there. yeah! I have an ultrasound on Monday to check and see exactly what week I am in and how things are going.
The nurse gave me a funny look and commented while going through family medical history. She asked if there are any twins on either side. After going through the list, she looked at me and knew if I understand that because of that, our chances are higher. Yes, I know, but I refuse to accept the possibility. I guess the ultrasound on Monday will yield more information, so please don't hold your breath.
Well, I guess that is all for now. Everything ran long this morning and I have lessons this afternoon that I need to prepare for.
