Ok, I got a e-mail from my dad today stating that the second surgery has been postponed until after the wedding. If they try to do the surgery on Wednesday, he could be in too much pain to be released from the hospital for the wedding. Therefore, the surgery will be after the wedding and give him time to manage his current pain for the weekend.
I actually talked to Justin on Sunday and he has good days and bad days. We are praying for peace for him right now. The doctor's are still unsure of his final prognosis as far as movement, etc in the foot. They will not really know until they get into the ankle for the surgery. Worst case: no movement at all. We are praying for some movement and wisdom for the doctors.
At this point, everything is a go for the wedding. We are all busy making last minute plans and preps. Alison and I leave on Thursday and will help do a lot of the final stuff.
Thanks for everyone's prayers. We still pray for God's hand to be evident in this situation.
