This week has been busy, busy, busy. I will do a quick recap and try to catch you up on everything that has happened and hope I don't bore you too much.
Monday:
Baby K turns 11 months old! Where did the time go? She is now standing on her own, cruising around the furniture and babbling like crazy.
T had her last official ballet lesson. No more driving to Gilmer Rd twice a week (at least for the summer).
Tuesday:
T has a checkup with the doctor. She is healthy and careening toward the teen years and puberty at breakneck speed. Sadly, she did have 2 shots, but handled them like a champ!
Wednesday:
T earns a trip to Six Flags for doing UIL and Mock United Nations. Note from school: Pick up your child at 9:00 pm. Actual time of bus arrival: 9:35 pm.
Thursday:
T has track day in the morning. Thankfully, the rain over night made the morning cool. She was 4th place in the softball throw and 5th place in the 50 yard dash. We missed pictures because baby K had a morning nap that lasted a little long. Oops.
Friday:
T has dress rehearsal for ballet recital. Note from studio: This will be a longer than normal dress rehearsal. Starts at 6:00 pm. Bill leaves to pick her up at 9:30 and arrives home with her at 10:30.
Saturday:
Grandma and grandpa come for the recital. Entire family over for dinner prior to recital. T has to be there dressed and ready by 6:15. Recital is awesome! She does a wonderful job. She is in the row on the left at the front. We are very proud of her. I did not get pictures of her in her costume due to the mayhem before and after.
